I watched recently for the first time the 1980 version of P&P and absolutely loved it. Elizabeth Garvie is lovely as Elizabeth Bennet and David Rintoul was an excellent Darcy. He even smiled at the 2nd proposal scene!
Does anybody have by chance screencaps of P&P 1980?
It would be lovely if we all could enjoy it.

I have just discovered my passport! It was below my old car title! This means that I can now go to Montreal, and also stop the meter maids from decorating the Grime Ride's windshield with so many tickets!
I MUST GO TO MONTREAL! Hot ladeez! Hot chocolate in a bowl! FRENCH SEXY TALK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111111
OMG room cleaning is really, really amazing. I can, all, see the floor. The bunnah is all, wtf, there is no underwear to push around on the floor. And I'm all, like, you can do that in your cage with the blankets and toys and boxes and things! And she's all, oh wow, I never noticed that stuff before to play with in my cage, I always just used the stuff on the bedroom floor!
I have a passport! This means that I don't have to find my birth certificate! I can get across the border legally, and, like, all borrow some khat stem* from one of the greenhouses at the Jardin botanique de Montréal! Perhaps I will also buy some succulents, and lie about living in Canada, and I can sneak those across the border also! OMFG FERN PORN in the fern porn room of the greenhouses! I am seriously gonna hump a staghorn, and my bodily fluids will provide the moisture necessary for the sexual reproduction part of the fern reproductive cycle.
Okay, now what? Um, I'm going to take a nap! Then, off to the MassHealth offices to flaunt my medical history and be all, like, I needs the state health insurance, bitchez! And then off to PSG, the temp agency that said I "might do better in a more button-down environment" after I apparently tooked too uptight for EF Education to
hire me.
Accomplishment! I feel accomplished! Almost as if I was employed or something! Now I am going to take a nap! To celebrate!
